Head of External Affairs, South Asia, DNDi
Sukriti Chauhan joined DNDi in September 2023 as Head of External Affairs in the South Asia office.
Sukriti has more than 14 years of experience working in developing, advocating for, and implementing evidence-based strategies to facilitate discourse and policy change around critical issues in public health, with organizations like PATH, Global Health Strategies, Population Council of India, CIFF, Tata Trusts and USAID. She also has consulting experience with WHO, AMREF Africa, Rockefeller Foundation and European Union. Prior to joining DNDi, Sukriti worked closely on a WHO-SEARO project- to develop a training and materials package on multi-sectoral community-based approaches for mental health and psychosocial support in the context of COVID-19 recovery and future pandemics and emergencies for 11 region member states.
Over the course of her career, Sukriti has delivered on key challenges related to nutrition, adolescent health, communicable diseases, woman entrepreneurship using coalition building, focused stakeholder advocacy leading to prioritization of issues and unlocking of government & private sector funds.
Sukriti has a Ph.D with focus on law and health and a Masters in Law from the University of Warwick, UK.
