Valérie Faillat

After earning a Doctorate of Pharmacy in the University of Montpellier, France, in 1989, Valérie joined the French affiliate of what is now Sanofi, where she held positions of increasing responsibilities in Regulatory Affairs. After 15 years of experience in the field of European regulatory affairs, she joined the Access to Medicines department, in the Corporate Social Responsibility Division of Sanofi in 2005. During more than 10 years, Valerie has developed a recognized expertise and network in the area of access to healthcare and quality of medicines in developing countries. In 2017, Valerie has been appointed Head of the Sanofi Espoir Foundation, which proposes, develops, implements partnerships and projects of general interest which reflect Sanofi’s commitments to contribute reducing health inequalities and which respond to humanitarian crisis to assure access to healthcare for the victims and displaced people.
