External Relations Director, DNDi
With over 20 years of experience in the social business sector, primarily in international settings, Ms Thi Hanh Cao brings a strong track record in strategy development and stakeholder engagement.
She joined DNDi in 2013 as Fundraising Coordinator, where she developed extensive expertise in forging and managing global health partnerships. She joined DNDi’s Executive Team in January 2025.
Prior to joining DNDi, she served as Operations Manager for FIDES AG in Switzerland, a microfinance company focused on Africa. From 2007 to 2012, she managed donor and investor relations, successfully driving impactful initiatives through strategic collaboration.
Earlier in her career, she led microfinance institutions in Madagascar, Kosovo, and Afghanistan, where she honed her leadership skills and developed a deep understanding of global development challenges.
Fluent in French and English, Ms Cao holds a Master’s degree from the Political Science Institute of Grenoble and completed a postgraduate programme in Management in Developing Countries from Paris Dauphine University.
