Dr Fabiana Barreira

Dr Fabiana Barreira joined DNDi in July 2014 as Clinical Project Manager. In October 2020, Fabiana took over the role of Clinical Project and Medical Leader working on DNDi’s Chagas, COVID-19, and filarial diseases programmes.

Prior to joining DNDi, Fabiana worked as International Clinical Operational Manager at Les Laboratoires Servier and acted as Investigator at CCBR-Synarc, in Brazil. With a vast experience in drug development from early stage drug discovery to drug registration, she led several projects across different therapeutic areas.

Fabiana is a medical doctor with residence in ObGyn and training in infectious disease, clinical research, and pharmacoeconomics. She also holds an MBA in Project Management.
