Denise Guimaraes

Denise Guimaraes joined DNDi in August 2019 as Senior Regional Operations Manager for the Latin America office. She took over Head of Regional Operations role in July 2022.

Before joining DNDi, Denise was the Planning & Reporting Lead for ActionAid International, a global federation working on women´s rights, land & climate, tax justice and emergencies. With 14 years of professional experience in international organizations she has progressively specialized in organizational effectiveness, programme cycle management, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) from a human rights and results based approach.

Denise holds a University Degree in International Relations from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais – PUC MG, Brazil and a Masters’ degree in International Cooperation, Peace and Development from the Basque Country University in Spain.
