Dr Laurent Fraisse and Mr Rudi Paye join DNDi’s Executive Management Team
DNDi is very pleased to announce the appointments of Dr Laurent Fraisse as Research & Development Director, and Mr Rudi Paye as Strategy and Operations Director.
Dr Fraisse comes to DNDi with substantial experience in the field of infectious diseases. Most recently, he worked as the Global Head of Infectious Disease R&D at Evotec. He was also Chair of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) Strategic Governing Group dedicated to infectious diseases.
Prior to his time at Evotec, Dr Fraisse was Head of the Infectious Diseases Therapeutic Unit and R&D Head for Infectious Diseases at Sanofi. Dr Fraisse was also responsible for research projects within Elf Atochem and Sanofi. Dr Fraisse graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Agronomie in Rennes, France. He obtained his PhD in Biotechnology at the Institut National Polytechnique in Toulouse in 1993.
Mr Paye joins DNDi after 19 years in the pharmaceutical and animal health industries of Merial/Sanofi and Boehringer-Ingelheim, where he occupied various leadership roles in industrial operations finance, corporate finance, business development, and alliance management.
Prior to these assignments, Mr Paye worked within the risk management function of a major glass manufacturer, and then as ERP/Finance Management Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr Paye completed his MBA at ICHEC Brussels Business School.
