Dengue is the most rapidly increasing mosquito borne infection worldwide and dengue fever continues to be an important public health problem in India, as evidenced by the high proportion dengue positivity, severity, and case fatality.
On the occasion of National Dengue Day observed in India on 16 May, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and DNDi are organizing an event to create awareness about dengue, its control, and management and discuss strategy and measures to tackle the disease.
