Hosted by the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology, the Pan-African Mycology Working Group (PAMWG) was set up to provide a better interaction and synergy among regional leaders in order to develop educational programs to aid in the diagnosis and care of patients with fungal infections in Africa. The theme of the 1st PAMWG Conference is Addressing neglected fungal killer diseases in Africa.
