The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), in collaboration with the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) and the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), organizes a virtual workshop on “Improving the current diagnostics for field us in visceral leishmaniasis and post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL)”.
The objectives of the workshop is to review the current landscape of new tools in diagnostic and sample collection for visceral leishmaniasis and PKDL and prioritize the diagnostic tests for visceral leishmaniasis and PKDL for further development and recommend the next steps for validation and product development.
