Designing drugs to fight diseases that cause high mortality and morbidity amongst the people of the developing world is a global challenge. This meeting focused on medicinal chemistry approaches to making new medicines, with keynote talks from international experts, accompanied by a series of perspectives detailing case histories in drug discovery.
The event took place at GlaxoSmithKline, Tres Cantos in Madrid, Spain. It was organised by SCI’s Fine Chemicals Group.
