The NEPAD Agency in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the organisational support of US-Food and Drugs Administration (USFDA) and the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) hosted the First Biennial Scientific Conference on Medicines Regulation in Africa, on 2nd and 3rd December 2013 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The theme of the conference was “Building Partnerships for Sustainable Capacity Development in Medicines Regulation in Africa”.
