Endemic Country Research and Development for Patient Access
On the occasion of DNDi’s 10th anniversary, DNDi and founding partner KEMRI brought together key African decision-makers and public health actors for this special event to explore the challenges and opportunities for research & development for neglected diseases in Africa – past and future!
How can certain neglected diseases, targeted for elimination, be tackled? How can building and sustaining clinical research capacity, current developments in regulatory alignment, and innovative partnerships contribute to control and elimination of neglected diseases? How can lessons learned from the past decade feed into the future and provide a lasting public health impact? These and many other questions will be addressed by a diverse group of experts.
The conference starts on 4 June 2013 with two introductory sessions on clinical research capacity strengthening and regulatory alignment in Africa. The main public event will take place on 5 June 2013.
