Dr Lisa Frigati

Dr Lisa Frigati is a paediatric infectious disease specialist whose research focus is on paediatric and adolescent HIV and TB in sub – Saharan Africa.

She completed a Masters in Tropical Medicine and International Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in  the UK, and a second Masters in Paediatrics from University of Cape Town which focused on isoniazid prophylaxis in children receiving antiretroviral therapy.

Her research interests are paediatric HIV,tuberculosis and the prevention of mother to child transmission.

She worked for MSF in Africa and Asia as medical adviser for HIV and was on the Board of MSF South Africa.
