The conference focused on antimicrobial resistance, including multi & extensive drug resistant pathogens, hospital acquired infections, host-pathogen interactions, infection and immunity, microbial pathogenesis, bioinformatics, challenges and opportunities in drug discovery & development against infectious diseases with special focus on TB, malaria, kala azar, dengue, chikungunya, chickenpox, etc. It had invited talks and poster sessions of selected abstract presentation on Human viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites causing mortality and morbidity in human.
