Summary: The municipality of Comapa, in department of Jutiapa, Guatemala, is in a "hot spot" for Chagas disease (CD) control in Central America. The Departmental Directorate of Integrated Health Services Networks of Jutiapa set up a Chagas clinic in Comapa with support from Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative. The authors of this descriptive observational study of 590 care records from 2019 to 2024 report the characteristics of the population attending the clinic. Trypanocidal treatment was started in 77.5% of patients, 7.6% of whom did not complete treatment; 71.5% reported adverse reactions: 67.6% neuropsychiatric and 47.1% digestive.
