Finance and Planning Director, DNDi
Ms Vielfaure is DNDi’s Finance and Planning Director. She joined DNDi as its Financial Controller in 2005. In her role, she develops and implements financial controls and budgets, and also coordinates financial reporting with the fundraising department.
Most recently, she was a teacher at the Bioforce Development School, which trains volunteers for international development positions. Ms Vielfaure has 15 years of experience in budgeting, controlling, donor reporting, and accounting through working with numerous humanitarian organizations, including Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Handicap International (HI).
Within MSF, she held the positions of Administrator and Head of Mission in central Africa, Caucasus, and Central America. Laurence Vielfaure holds a diploma in Advanced Accounting and Finance Studies from the Catholic University of Lyon, France, equivalent to an MBA.
