Communications and Advocacy Director, DNDi
James Arkinstall joined DNDi in 2016 as Head of Communications and Advocacy, having previously been Communications Manager for the OECD’s Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation. He spent more than ten years working for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), whether in field missions in West and Central Africa, or in various campaigning and communications roles from 2005 onwards, including as Head of Communications of the MSF Access Campaign from 2010 to 2014.
Fluent in French and English, James has an MA in International Relations from INALCO, Paris and a BA in Hindi and Farsi from Cambridge University.
