Head of Public Fundraising, DNDi
Christina (Christy) Sander is a global health professional with over 15 years of experience in resource mobilization, advocacy for funding, and strategic partnership development, serving as the Head of Public Funding since December 2025. Christy joined DNDi’s External Relations team in the Geneva office in June 2015. At DNDi, she leads external relations and donor engagement towards public sector and government donors, securing financial and political support for research and innovation for life-saving treatments for neglected patients. Christy has a proven track record in designing and implementing multi-stakeholder engagement strategies at national and regional levels, and cultivating government and donors worldwide.
Prior to joining DNDi, Christy held positions in resource mobilization, strategic planning and partnership engagement at the Stop TB Partnership, the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), and at the International AIDS Society.
She holds a Masters in International History and Politics from the Geneva Graduate Institute, and a BA in History with a minor in French Language from Princeton University.
