For the past 10 years, the Access to Medicine Foundation has tracked the progress of pharmaceutical engagement in R&D for neglected diseases, they found that models like Product Development Partnerships (PDPs) have been highly successful in creating incentives for pharmaceutical companies to participate in access-friendly R&D.
