The overall aim of this webinar is to help raise the profile of this disease, which is one of the most neglected of the neglected tropical diseases, so that appropriate attention can be paid to it. Specific objectives are to review the clinical and epidemiological situation of mycetoma in Africa, discuss the strategy for implementing the fight against the disease, taking into account the aspects of diagnosis, treatment and integrated surveillance, and analyse the GAPs and raise awareness among the various players with a view to their involvement.
