Frederic Vallat is the HR and Finance Director at the Fire and Rescue Service, City of Geneva.
Prior to his current position, Frederic Vallat was the Director of Department for Social Cohesion and Solidarity at the City of Geneva. He worked for seven years as the Chief Finance Officer for Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) Switzerland. As a Swiss public accountant, other roles include working as an audit manager and as a consultant with Arthur Andersen and BearingPoint.
Frederic Vallat has served, on a volunteer basis, on the Board of several not-for-profit organisations, including the Foundation for the Refugee Education Trust (RET) and Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) Japan. He is a graduate in political sciences from Sciences Po, Paris and of communication and public management (Sciences Po and Paris IX Dauphine).
