Continental Lead Asia and South Asia Director, DNDi
Sanjay Sarin joined DNDi in November 2025 as Continental Lead Asia and South Asia Director.
Sanjay is a global health leader with over 20 years’ experience in strategy, programme management, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement. He has driven long-term organizational growth and led high-impact programmes across Asia and Africa.
Prior to joining DNDi, Sanjay was the Chief Executive Officer at IKP Knowledge Park, overseeing operations and strategy while working with government, academia, research bodies, and industry to advance innovation and support technology transfer and licensing in life sciences, biotech, and healthcare. Before this, as the Vice President of Access at FIND, Sanjay led the global access portfolio, collaborating with ministries of health, WHO, global health agencies (including Unitaid, Global Fund, GHIT, KOICA, etc.), and partners to strengthen health systems across Asia and Africa for TB, viral hepatitis, AMR, NCDs, and pandemic preparedness. He also worked as Regional Director for Global Health at Becton Dickinson, leading multi-year partnerships with government and non-government organizations to improve healthcare delivery across Asia.
Sanjay has a Ph.D in Biochemistry along with a certification in Strategic Non-Profit Management from Harvard Business School.
