The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the largest global United Nations event for discussions and negotiations on climate change. Brasil is hosting the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30).
With a focus on scientific innovation and equity, DNDi aims to bring to COP30 the perspective of the most vulnerable communities and share our commitment to developing sustainable and accessible solutions to the climate crisis and its impacts on health.

The panel discussion aims to promote dialogue between scientists, government actors, communities, and the private sector on the impact of climate change on Chagas disease transmission scenarios. The panel discussion, promoted by DNDi, CEPI, Gavi, Unitaid, MMV, and Fiocruz, with support from PAHO, aims to discuss recommendations for national authorities and partners to promote sustainable health products, resilient supply chains, and equitable care models. These actions are essential strategies for implementing the Belém Health Action Plan and the WHO Global Action Plan on Climate and Health, strengthening the resilience of health systems in the face of infectious diseases.

- 14:00-15:00: High-level session of the Action Agenda on Climate and Health, focused on the implementation and mobilization of climate actions in the health sector
