Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has established the “Humanitarian Congress Tokyo” since 2020 as a platform based in Japan to discuss various issues related to humanitarian aid, and has been organizing the event jointly with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) since 2021. The theme of the Humanitarian Congress Tokyo 2023 is ‘A spotlight on the neglected’.
