Head of Disease, HIV, DNDi
Dr Justine Odionyi joined DNDi in October 2022 as Head of Disease, HIV.
Dr Odionyi is a paediatrician and a global health and infectious disease specialist with over 13 years’ experience in HIV work. Prior to joining DNDi, she was the Director of Programs for Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) in Kenya where she was responsible project management and implementation of the various donor funded projects for HIV response. She has expertise in HIV care and treatment services and public health programme management acquired by holding various clinical and technical leadership roles across public hospitals and health care NGOs in Kenya.
She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree, and a Masters in Paediatrics and Child Health from the University of Nairobi. Dr Odionyi also has a Masters in Global Health and Infectious Disease (MSc) from the University of Edinburg.
