DNDi India Stakeholders’ Event: New R&D Pathways to Address Neglected Patients’ Needs in the Indian Sub-Continent

The Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative in India organized its Stakeholders’ Event on October 15, 2015 in New Delhi and unveiled its Business Plan for India and the region to better respond to the needs of the patients suffering from neglected diseases. Over 100 global public health experts including government officials, scientists, researchers, civil society representatives, and partner organizations were present at the event. On the occasion, Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) and DNDi signed a Memorandum of Understanding to reinforce the research and development technical collaboration in the field of neglected diseases and the patronage of the ICMR as a key institutional partner of DNDi.
